    • The video Sleeping Patterns for Newborns does a good job generalizing sleeping patterns in newborns. The fact is all babies are different, and you will see major differences in sleep patterns even among your own children. I had the "wakeful" baby, the "sleepy baby", and the "fussy baby". Adapting to the individual needs of every baby is important. The most important thing is to pick a schedule and stick with it. All babies adapt to that.
