dadzclub's second review-cycle project sees toys heading to ‘Action for Children’ centre
dadzclub are really proud of their review-cycle intiative and we are especially delighted to tell you about a local progrmme we have recently worked with - proving that the process works whether supporting charities as far afield as Africa or those just around the corner!
A children’s centre, run by Action for Children, were given a pile of toys thanks to the support for our review-cycle initiative from many of the brands that we work with. The review-cycle scheme sees toys received as part of a review process passed onto charities both locally and abroad.
The Wild Rose Children’s Centre in Hampshire received the toys to coincide with their Christmas party on Wednesday 14 December.
The Sure Start Children’s Centre, which is managed by Action for Children, provides information, advice and support to local families, including a number of Armed Forces families, with children under the age of five.

Craig Hodgson, founder of dadzclub, says, “It’s great to be able to help a local charity. dadzclub receives loads of toys from brands such as Mattel, Spinmaster, Tomy, Flair and Lego (to name just a few) as part of our review process. We came up with the idea for review-cycle when wondering what to do with all the toys once the process is complete. It is lovely to know that children will be enjoying these toys from today onwards. Much better than sitting in boxes at dadzclub HQ!”
Stephanie Deacon, Family Support Outreach Worker at Action for Children’s, Wild Rose Children’s Centre, said: “We’re delighted and really grateful that dadzclub are coming to donate the toys to Wild Rose and I can’t wait to see the children’s faces when they see them. Its also perfect timing as it coincides with our Christmas party on what promises to be a really fun-‐filled day.”

About the Wild Rose Children’s Centre
Wild Rose Children’s Centre is a Sure Start Children’s Centre based in Church Crookham, covering the wards of Fleet Courtmoor, Crondall, Church Crookham East, Church Crookham West.

The centre is managed by Action For Children, a national charity which supports children, families and young people in a variety of ways.
The centre is open throughout the year and for all families who have at least one child under the age of 5 years. We particularly encourage Service families to come along and use the centre.
The work focuses mainly on parents‐to-be, and families with children from 0 ‐ 5, to nurture and support the physical, intellectual and social development of babies and young children - particularly those who are disadvantaged - to enable them to flourish and achieve their full potential, no matter what their circumstances.
They ensure the children they work with become school‐ready, with the aim of breaching the cycle of disadvantage. The centre really is a lifeline for many local families, they really do change the lives of many children for the better.
