  • 3 star Good but not brilliant

James and Mel (Odiham)05 November 2011

    Pros: Easy to Use, Educational

    Cons: Simplistic

Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Being an "Orchard Toys" fan I was slightly disappointed with this product. The age guidance 2-5 years is a bit misleading. The majority of 4 and 5 year olds would not be challenged and would find the game far to easy. The instructions do offer an 'older child' option but this is still pretty easy. The game is beautifully presented with lots of bright colours and illustrations and would be suitable for children aged 2-3

  • 3 star Educational fun

Pros: Easy to Use, Safe, Educational, Fun

    Cons:

    Describe Yourself: First Time Parent

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend to a friend

We were given this to review by dadzclub and I played it with my wife and 3 year old son. I found it very easy to use and because each game was quick it kept my sons attention. The bright colours and pictures made it easy for him to picture match and the chunky card appeared robust.

  • 3 star Versatile and engaging game

    Mark and Billy (2) (Surrey)24 October 2011

Pros: Easy to Use, Safe, Educational

    Cons:

    Describe Yourself: First Time Parent

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend to a friend

My son is nearly 3 and he has just started to sit still long enough to pay a game. He did need my help with recognising the colours but it won't be long until he can do it himself. A very good simple first boardgame. I also like the idea of playing the game in different ways to enable older children to play too.

  • 3 star Great game.

Pros: Easy to Use, Engaging, Educational, Fun

    Cons:

Describe Yourself: Dad of Two or more

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Me and the family were given this game by Orchard Toys to review. It's recommended age is from 2 to 5. We would definitely agree with the lower age limit, however the upper age limit may be better reduced to the age of 4 perhaps? and some children under the age of 2 would possibly not understand the concept of colour recognition. The idea of the game is to help develop maths and colour recognition. This is achieved simply by the colourful lotto-based game. Great game all in all.

  • 4 star Family Favourite!!!

Pros: Easy to Use, Safe, Engaging, Educational, Entertaining, Fun

    Cons:

Describe Yourself: Parent of Two or More

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I am very impressed with this highly engaging and educational game. The loto based bored game is simple enough for young children to follow but at the same time enough fun to keep them amused for hours!! A firm family favourite which helps develop their colour matching and picture recognition skills.

Ages: 2-5

Players: 2-5

An award-winning first lotto game for very young players.  Try to be the first to match all the coloured pictures on your playing board.
